Here are some of my favorite books on nutrition

These are just a few of the books I’ve read over the years on nutrition. I’ve found them to be well-researched, highly informative, nicely documented and organized, enjoyable to read and action oriented. I would recommend any of these books to anyone interested in ancestral nutrition, and teaching themselves how to eat. The most complete DIY guide I’ve found to a diet I agree with for the most part can be found in the aptly named The Perfect Health Diet by Shou-Ching and Paul Jaminet, both PhDs who healed themselves through diet and supplements after Western Medicine couldn’t help them anymore. This is a common narrative you will find in people who seek out alternative health. It is my story also, and I am all the better for it. Happy Reading!

The Big Fat Surprise by Nina Teicholz, a superb read on how badly we've misplaced our fat fears.
